How to get more Google reviews
Ask at the right moment.
Straight after a job well done or a good visit, while it's fresh. A card on the counter or a link in your thank-you message turns it into a ten-second job.

Google's policies don't allow asking only the customers you expect to be happy, or offering anything in return for a review. Ask everyone, and let the reviews be honest. They're more convincing that way.
Reply to every review.
Thank people for the good ones and answer the bad ones calmly and helpfully. Future customers read the replies as closely as the reviews.

Up-to-date hours, photos and services on your Google Business Profile help you show up in the first place, and reviews do more when the profile around them looks cared for.

Questions about review links
Is this the official Google review link?
It's Google's own review link format, built from your business's Place ID. It opens the review form directly: in Google Search on a computer, or in the Google Maps app on a phone. Always test it before you print.
My business doesn't come up. What now?
Check the spelling and add your town. Businesses that hide their address and serve an area are included, so try the name on its own too. If it still won't show, paste your Place ID from Google's Place ID finder.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google's policies don't allow offering anything for a review, or asking only the customers you think will be happy, and reviews that break the rules can be removed. Ask everyone, the same way.
What can I print?
Counter cards (four to a sheet of A4, each 93 × 136 mm, just under A6), business cards (ten to a sheet, 85 × 55 mm), a table tent that folds in half and reads from both sides, or an A4 poster. Download a print-ready PDF or print straight from the page, at actual size, on card if you can. You can add your logo too.
