What affects the price
How many pages
A five-page site and a twelve-page site take different amounts of design, writing and building. Our Starter websites cover up to five pages from £995, and Business websites up to twelve from £1,950.
What it needs to do
Bookings, logins and links to other software are where the time goes. A site that only needs to show what you do and take enquiries costs far less than one that runs part of your business.
Who writes the words
Every package includes help with the words. If you'd rather we wrote every page from scratch, planned around what your customers search for, that's £150 a page.
Running costs
After launch there's hosting, from £25 a month, and optionally maintenance and SEO. None of them are compulsory, and they roll month to month.

Questions about website costs
How much does a small business website cost?
Most small-business websites we build cost between £995 and £3,500, depending on how many pages and features you need. Online shops start at £1,800, plus VAT.
Is the estimate a quote?
No. It's worked out from our published starting prices, so it shows roughly where your project sits. Tell us what you need and you'll get a fixed quote before any work starts.
Why is it a range rather than one price?
Each package has a starting price, and where a project lands above that depends on the details: how much content there is, how complex the features are and how many rounds of design it takes. The top of the range is where a project would move up to the next package.
Do I have to pay every month?
No. Hosting, maintenance and SEO are all optional and roll month to month. You can host the website yourself, or anywhere you like, and it's yours either way.
Can I start small and add more later?
Yes. Sites are built so pages, a blog or new features can be added later without starting again, and you only pay for what you add.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. All our prices exclude VAT.
