Lincoln software engineer launches Lincoln Digital

LINCOLN, 30 September 2026 — Lincoln software engineer Matt Hodson has launched Lincoln Digital, a web design, development and search engine optimisation company for businesses in Lincoln and across Lincolnshire.

Hodson has spent ten years building and running his own websites, including public-data services covering NHS waiting times, NHS dentists taking on patients, hospital waiting lists and bus timetables. Together, the more than forty sites he runs receive around 6.2 million page views a month. He has also provided SEO consultancy to organisations including Mozilla, the makers of the Firefox browser.

Lincoln Digital opens that experience to local businesses for the first time. Every website is hand-coded in C# and .NET, designed from scratch rather than from a template, and built to load in under a second.

“For ten years my only client was me. If a site was slow or nobody could find it on Google, I lost the visitors, so I learned to fix it,” said Matt Hodson, Founder and Director. “Lincolnshire businesses deserve websites as good as the ones coming out of London and Manchester, without London prices.
